Robotics: Handle

Handle is a robot combining the rough-terrain capability of legs with the efficiency of wheels, using many similar principals like dynamics, balance, and mobile manipulation found in the quadruped and biped robots. Having only 10 actuated joints coordinated to deliver high-performance mobile manipulation, it’s still significantly less complex than the other built by Boston Dynamics. Handle has the ability to work in tight quarters and pick up heavy loads, all while taking up a very small footprint and has the best of both worlds; fast and efficient wheels for flat surfaces and legs that can go almost anywhere.
